Advisory Services
Together with its partner GreenSteam in China, Belliss provides advisory services in the climate and renewable energy sectors´ particularly in the area of investment projects. Everything we do is related to promoting investments in the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and in renewable energy projects. Our policy analysis and development services aim at improving the investment environment and bankability of these projects. Our current geographical coverage is India.
Carbon project and finance services
In the climate sector our core competence includes CDM/JI project development, carbon market transactions and carbon portfolio management and risk assessment. In addition, we have a strong knowledge base in policy and market studies related to both existing market mechanisms, such as the Kyoto mechanisms and the EU ETS, and “new mechanisms”, such as sectoral crediting and NAMAs.
Renewable energy project and finance services
In the renewable energy sector we are involved in various investment projects as financial advisors. In this field our services typically include investment analysis, valuation, as well as financial planning and arrangements. Our clients are often project developers, external investors or technology companies. Biomass based Thermal Power, Solar power, Wind power, hydro power and biogas are at the core of our expertise. Through it’s various relationships and associations with carbon funds GreenStream also participates in the design of instruments for promoting renewable energy, such as feed-in tariffs and market based schemes including renewable energy certificate schemes and the European Union’s RES co-operation mechanisms.
Intermediary Services
Again through its relationship with GreenStream Belliss offers award winning Intermediary Services including brokerage and portfolio management services covering environmental products in the carbon and renewable energy markets.
