Belliss Engineering, the component manufacturer & aftermarket division off Belliss Group, signed a Memorandum of understanding with Lovells Springs, Australia, for coiled and conical springs and rubber metal bonded spherilastic bushes.These components are extensively used for suspension systems in the Railways and other surface transport vehicles but finds few reputed manufacturers inIndia. Initially, the arrangement is for jointly developing these components with the Lucknow based RDSO of Indian Railways and supplying the same through their partner company in Australia. Belliss Engineering has been manufacturing precision components for Hindusthan Aeronautics Ltd. (HAL), Lucknow for Sukhoi fighter jets of the Indian Air Force and Ordnance Factory, Dehra Dun through its state of the art component manufacturing facility in New Delhi which includes four CNC machines, CMM machines & an Engineering Center with 3D CAD and Stress Analysis software facilities. By this arrangement, Belliss Engineers will be trained at their partner company in Australia to manufacture these components which will highly benefit the Railways & other surfacetransport establishment.
In the recent years, Belliss has ventured into many other partnerships like Turbochargers (from BTN Turbo, UK/ Borg Warner, Germany) and Brake Blocks & Bogie Mounted Braking Systems (from Rierchance technology & Development Co., China) etc. for Railways & Automobile Industries for which development at various stages are under progress. Belliss also sells Gas Gensets from Ruichang Gold Generating Equipment (Wuxi) Manufacturing Co., China, in the range of 5 – 1,000KW. System Integration, Product guarantee & Service support for all these products are given in India by Belliss Group under anexclusive arrangement.
